Meet Our Pastor

Dr. Ivanildo C. Trindade was born on the Amazon in northern Brazil to an impoverished family of nine children. His parents came to know Jesus through the ministry of missionaries from California. Dr. Trindade’s father was a pastor for over sixty years in Brazil, and his mother is still going strong in her service to Christ. After moving to the United States with his family in the mid-90’s, Dr. Trindade has been involved with the ministry of the Gospel in several cities across the country. As a proud citizen of the United States now, Dr. Trindade is even more excited that he is a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven (Philippians 3:2-21). Dr. Trindade is fluent in several languages, and he earned a Master of Theology from Grace Seminary and a PhD in Leadership from Capital Graduate School. But he is most satisfied when he preaches God’s Word, as he likes to say, “not only for Bible education, but for life-transformation.” Dr. Trindade gives glory to God for allowing him to serve at Main Global Methodist in Mansfield.

Bring your donations to the office starting this week! Items include
towels and/flannels to make reusable sanitary products for women in places where access is limited.
Towels: kitchen, hand, beach, bath, washcloths. No need to be new—even thin or worn ones can be repurposed.
Flannels: fitted and flat sheets, pillow cases, leftover fabric from sowing/quilting projects. Pieces as small as 11”x11” are useful. National Conference participants will be able to serve by tracing and cutting towels and fabric during conference

There are stories in the Bible that clearly indicate that “little people” matter to God. Pastor Ivanildo will explore this intriguing theme and teach us about God’s MO, namely, to use only imperfect people. Together, we will learn how ordinary people are able to do extraordinary things when they allow God to take charge.
